Positive Training

Nathan uses luring, shaping, strategic food placement, successive approximations, and a whole lot of love and patience to teach Clover what he wants her to do and to build her confidence that it’s safe AND fun!

Training that is positive and effective:  we all want a dog who is a pleasure to be around; who can come with us almost anywhere, who comes when called, sits when asked, walks nicely on leash, takes treats gently, doesn’t jump on people or snatch food from the gutter or from a child.

These are reasonable expectations and My Dog, LLC can help you achieve them.

Caryl-Rose combines learning theory (operant and classical conditioning) with clicker training to let teaching your dog be effective, straightforward and fun!  It is never too late or too early to build a solid behavioral foundation.
